Health Care Reform
In Partnership with the IFEBP (International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans)
Thank you to all who attended this program. Over 110 individuals met to hear the
latest details of the health care reform legislation. In addition to the presentation materials
the panel of speakers took many questions from the floor.
While there is still much to be learned (regulations are still being written and interim
final rules to be released), the materials distributed provide a great starting point
for health and welfare funds and their trustees. Some of the interim final rules and
other regulations still have open comment periods and attendees were encouraged
to submit comments.

Annual Membership Meeting
This meeting is open to all member funds, their directors, trustees, consultants, and staff as well as non-member funds administrators, trustees and staff.
Our Annual Membership Meeting was held on
Thursday, April 1, 2010. The meeting was held at Park Place of Countryside Banquet Hall, 6240 Joliet Road, Countryside, IL.The Coalition was pleased to have Kathryn Bakich, Senior Vice President and National Director of Health Care Compliance from Segal as our special guest speaker. Kathryn spoke about the "Changing Scope of Health Care Reform."

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors generally meet on a quarterly basis.
The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, September 17, 2010 at 9:30 a.m.
The meeting will be held at the William Tell Holiday Inn, 6201 Joliet Road, Countryside, IL
